GD&TOP to Feature in Diplo’s Next Album

The unit group of Big Bang, GD&TOP’s first album was a great success last year. While fans are eagerly waiting for their second album, it was mentioned by the CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk at the press conference of “YGEX” yesterday that the duo will be featuring in American DJ Diplo’s next album.

One of the title track “Knock Out” within GD&TOP’s first album, was a collaboration between the duo and Diplo, who is known as a DJ, songwriter, and producer. Back in June 5^th, Diplo left a post on his Facebook hinting that he was in Korea; later on he revealed on Facebook that he was with YG Family working in the studio. Since then, fans have been wondering if GD&TOP will be releasing their second album soon.

Yet at the press conference announcing the new label of “YGEX”, CEO Yang Hyun Suk mentioned this when he was introducing YG’s music. He stated “This is the first time I reveal the news. Diplo who had previously worked with famous singers such as Beyonce, met up with GD&TOP not long ago and gave the duo some new songs. In addition, he made the request to have the duo featuring in his new album. So you will be hearing GD&TOP’s voice in Diplo’s new album!”
