Warrior Baek Dong Soo: Stays at #1 for Mon-Tue TV Ratings

SBS’s Mon-Tue drama “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” achieved number one for viewership ratings in its time slot. According to the AGB Nielson Ratings, the episode of “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” that aired on August 1^st received 16.3%. On July 26^th the viewership rating was 16.7%, and although August 1^st ratings reduced by 0.4%, “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” maintained number one. The other two dramas that play in the same time slot, MBC’s “Gye Baek” and KBS 2TV’s “Spy Myungwol” each respectively had 10.1% and 7.2%.

Yoo Seung Ho who is one of the stars on “Warrior Baek Dong Soo” returned back to filming after being involved in a car accident. Around 1:30PM KST on July 28th, Yoo Seung Ho was involved in a car accident on his way to the set of the drama.  His vehicle skidded off the slippery roads from the heavy rain and was completely totaled. Yoo Seung Ho suffered a fracture on his skull, around his eyes, and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Following the accident, Yoo Seung Ho stated, “First of all I am sorry for making you worry, but thank you for all of those that did. After the accident a lot of the information was put out of proportion but thankfully there wasn’t significant damage. With my current condition I can normally go through all of the filming.”
