“Soshified” Celebrate SNSD’s 4th Year Anniversary on Giant Billboard in Downtown LA

Exactly four years ago today, on August 5th, 2007, SNSD gave their first-ever live performance on SBS “Inkigayo.” To celebrate the fourth year anniversary, SNSD’s international fan community, “Soshified,” has prepared a special gift for the group.

“Soshified” has put up a special video message on a digital billboard on top of the Aroma Wilshire Center in downtown LA, from August 1st to the 8th. According to Soshified, this digital billboard has the biggest target audience in LA county.

Fans who saw the video commented, “I can’t believe it’s already been four years,” “It’s great to see SNSD grow into a global pop icon,” and “SNSD has set countless new records and showed each member’s distinctive colors over the last four years.”

SNSD was first revealed through online videos on July 6th, 2007. They released the music video of their debut track, “Into the New World,” on August 1st, 2007 and the single came out the next day. After their first live performance on August 5th, they won their first #1 award on October 11th on Mnet “M! Coutndown!”
