Video of Jay Park and Moon Hee Jun's Cover of H.O.T.’s “Candy”
Last week, we reported on the recording of Jay Park and Moon Hee Jun’s “Candy” cover performance for KBS “Immortal Song 2.” Due to popular demand, here we bring the full video of their performance, including pre-performance interviews of the two!
Jay Park keeps saying, “I’m not like that. I can’t make those cute faces,” while Moon Hee Jun says, “Jay was shy with those stuff (i.e. exaggerated smiles), so I keep on teaching him how to do it.” Jay Park goes on, “It’s a little embarrassing when I see myself dance like that.” But he later on says, “If I’m going to do it, I’ll try to be as cute as possible. So there will be a few cute moves…so cute that you’ll want to put me in your pocket.”
During the performance, both Jay Park and Moon Hee Jun appear to run out of breath as the song doesn’t involve much breaks. Both said it’s a tough song to perform live (H.O.T. used to lipsync most of their performances back then), but at the actual stage, the two look surprisingly flawless (and cute!), getting the whole crowd on their feet!
Without further ado, here’s the video of Jay Park/Moon Hee Jun collaboration for H.O.T.’s “Candy”!
