B1A4's "Let's Fly" Singapore Press Conference

It was Monday blues no more when friends of the media and fans of rookie boy group B1A4 gathered at Jewel Box for their first overseas showcase press conference that took place on August 8. Perched on the top of Mount Faber, the unusual venue in the midst of greenery and sea view sets the press conference in a relaxed tone.

One member caught us off-guard by wandering into the room on his own when host Ken from Radio 1003 had yet to introduce them. He was quickly pulled out by the crew as they retreated to touch up before making an official appearance. After a short wait, all five members, Jinyoung, Baro, Gongchan, Sandeul and CNU walked in and greeted everyone with their cheerful smiles.

Ken started with a few warm up questions, asking them how did they feel to see the many fans who were at the airport to welcome them. Baro said they are happy and thankful to the fans who came out to receive them and they didn’t know they have so many fans here.

About their experience in Singapore, Sandeul shared that they have done some sightseeing and taken the ride on The Flyer and even took a cable car to the press conference. He went on to explain that Baro didn’t enjoy the cable car ride as the latter is afraid of heights.

The group was dumbfounded when asked who would the person be if they were to exchange a member with Block B. Weird question aside, Ken went to their aide by answering that they love their own members too much to do a swap.

Question from Soompi – There are so many rookie groups debuting in Korea each year, what does B1A4 plan to do to make themselves stand out from the others?

CNU said, instead of working together like band mates, they are able to work well because they are friends.
