Kim Jaejoong's "I Will Protect You" Tops Various Search and Sales Rankings

JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong‘s contribution to the official sound track of SBS’ “Protect The Boss” is topping numerous real-time search and sales rankings, less than a day after its release.

“I Will Protect You” currently holds the top spot on music charts such as Bugs, Daum, Naver Music, and is within the top five singles on Dosirak. It is Cyworld‘s top background music choice, as well as the top-searched term on the site. On Melon‘s real-time search, “Protect The Boss OST”, “Kim Jaejoong” and “I Will Protect You” hold the top three spots.

The song’s success is not limited to Korea – iTunes Japan lists it as the eleventh most-downloaded song in Japan for the day, even without a formal Japanese release or official promotion in the country.

After the third episode topped nationwide viewership ratings and was named the most-watched TV program in Seoul, this is yet another feat “Protect The Boss” has managed to achieve after only the second week of airing.

“Protect The Boss”, starring Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Wang Ji Hye, airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 PM KST on SBS.
