Jang Geun Suk Joins Weibo
Jang Geun Suk became the latest Korean celebrity to jump on the Weibo bandwagon!
On the morning of August 12, Jang Geun Suk greeted Chinese Eels with a picture of himself posing with a victory hand sign announcing the opening of his Weibo. Weibo is the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, created by Sina.com. The use of Weibo rose exponentially after Twitter was blocked by the Chinese government.
Along with eye-nutritious pictures of himself, the playful young actor also posted cute messages and lamented on his lack of Chinese fans.
“Chinese Eels I’m finally in the world of Weibo!!!!”
“I am here !!!!!!!! Do you have an ice cream?”
“There are only 27,000 fans!? Ah … Jang Geun Suk, you’re not very popular in China. That’s it. … Other celebrities have close to one million fans.. I am not popular…..Not…”
“It seems that I am not popular in China… not yet reached one hundred thousand fans… Ah, so sad…. “
“Why am I not popular in China? What should I do on my birthday? I’m not popular in China~”
“What did you say? Geun Suk oppa is not popular in China? Is it true? The followers are less than a hundred thousand.”
“Hahahahahahaha!!! I’m the world best! The prince of the world!!! I love my chinese eels Kisskiss”
“Yeah~~I’m the best”
“The unpopular Jang Geun Suk has not received a hundred thousand followers after one day… sorry… I will work harder… kekekeke”
“My God … I thought it was 20,000 people but was 210,002 …. I love chinese eels ..!!”
Congratulations to Jang Geun Suk for hitting two hundred thousand followers in just one day!
