JYJ Appointed ICAAP Ambassadors for AIDS Awareness
JYJ has been appointed ambassadors for ICAAP (International Congress on Aids in Asia and the Pacific). Yoochun and Junsu attended the ambassador induction ceremony at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul on August 16. ICAAP is the largest AIDS-related association in the Asia Pacific region. This was the congress’s first time meeting in Korea.
“JYJ’s appointment will expand awareness of AIDS and prevention of it throughout Asia,” said Cho Myung Hwan, the head of ICAAP. He also stated that this ceremony signifies that Korea is a leader in Asia not only for economy, but also in terms of social responsibilities. He encouraged Koreans to use this opportunity to become more active in spreading the word about AIDS awareness.
