"Muneunim" From "Protect The Boss" Added to Naver Dictionary

Protect The Boss is not only breaking records and topping ratings – “Muneunim”, a term coined by the hit series, is now a registered entry of Naver’s online dictionary.

Searching for the term on Naver’s dictionary will direct to the following definition:

“A compound wordconsisting of the name of Cha Mu Won (Kim Jaejoong) of the SBS drama “Protect the Boss” and Haneunim (T/N: Korean word for “God”). In the drama, Cha Mu Won is someone who Noh Eun Sul (Choi Kang Hee) depends on as if he were her “Daddy Long Legs” (T/N: a kindhearted and magnanimous benefactor). She considers him to be equal to and on the same level with God, and so calls him Muneunim.”

Noh Eun Sul’s usage of the term has increased in more recent episodes, up to the point where her friend, Myung Ran (Ha Jae Sook), also makes use of the word.

“Protect The Boss” has sustained ratings of over 20% this past week, validating its status as a hit drama.
