BEAST Engages in Lawsuit to Get Rid of Harmful Media Status
BEAST’s agency Cube Entertainment has filed a lawsuit in order to get rid of the “harmful media” status for BEAST’s songs. Recently SM had a similar lawsuit and in court, it was decided that having the word “alcohol” in the lyrics of a song does not make that song “harmful media.” Cube Entertainment is following suite in order to get rid of that status for BEAST’s first album.
Cube Entertainment stated on August 29th, “We will file a lawsuit against the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family, in order to cancel the status of ‘harmful media’ for BEAST’s first album.”
Cube Entertainment states that there is only one song on BEAST’s first album titled “On a Rainy Day” that contains lyrics about drinking.
