Jang Geun Suk Goes on Shopping Spree in Japan, Spends $6,500 USD in an Hour

It was recently reported that Jang Geun Suk went on a shopping spree during his stay in Japan, apparently spending over $6,500 USD in less than an hour to purchase clothes and shoes.

On August 28^th, according to Japanese media News Post Seven, Jang Geun Suk was spotted at the Isetan Department Store in the downtown Shinjuku area of Tokyo. He headed straight to the men’s wear section where he shopped for designer clothes and sneakers, spending almost 6.5 million won ($6,500 USD) in a matter of an hour. He later moved to the seventh floor and had dinner at one of the restaurants in the building, it was reported.

Fans who were there immediately spotted the star actor/singer, and they crowded the entire area, however, Jang Geun Suk was surrounded by four to five security guards who blocked any photo or video from being taken.

“They stopped us if we tried to get any close. It was impossible to take any photos. But I’m satisfied because I was able to see him in real life,” an unnamed Japanese man was quoted as saying.

On August 19^th, Jang Geun Suk visited Japan for the first time in two months and has been busy with TV activities and other promotions.
