Ock Joo Hyun Publicly Criticizes the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

Singer and Musical actress Ock Joo Hyun openly criticized the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

On August 31st, Ok Joo Hyun tweeted, “Wow, I can’t believe this. The music industry 12 years ago is less strict than today.” She did not hesitate to castigate how absurd the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family is being right now.

She continued on with slandering the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family by saying “‘I am confessing all this in the sober state of mind’–is that type of the lyric that should be written? Is all that you are doing for the best*?”
When comedian Song Eun Yi saw Ok’s comment, she commented mockingly (towards the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family), “Cool lyrics!”

On the other hand, the Women’s Familiy Group, in effort to protect teens from alcohol and cigarettes in lyrics, is banning some songs from being aired in television, and have bought a ton of disdain and contempt from the general public.

Some of the songs that have gotten banned are,  HyunA‘s “Bubble Pop“, BEAST’s “On Rainy Days”, and many more.
