Hong Seung Sung Talks About the Future of K-Pop

On September 1, Cube Entertainment‘s CEO Hong Seung Sung talked about turning his artists into global superstars at the discussion board for his latest book, “There Will Be No Spotlight If You Stop Now.”

“I’ll make them into world stars. The day when our artists fly around the world for a world tour on chartered planes isn’t too far from now. I’m going to work hard so that Cube artists can succeed as world stars,” Hong began.

“I think that Korea possess a lot of talent as well as outstanding music producers. A lot of effort is being put into the industry, and I think it’d be amazing if the next world star is someone that achieved their dreams by reading my book,” he said.

“K-Pop stars are creating incredibly amazing on stage.  In five to ten years, K-Pop stars will definitely be going on world tours on stages on chartered planes. There will be events hundred times bigger than the achievement created by SM Entertainment and ‘SM Town Live in Paris,'” he added.

Asked why he wrote his book, he replied, “I wanted to tell people that you have to be crazily passionate for your craft in order to succeed. That time is now, and that’s my message.”

Definitely a must-read for any aspiring K-Pop star!
