MBLAQ Tops Music Chart in Bulgaria

MBLAQ has landed the top spot of the music charts in Bulgaria.

According to MBLAQ’s agency, J. Tune Entertainment, on September 9 the group’s song “Mona Lisa” was listed at the peak position of the music charts in Bulgaria. The group beat some known international artists such as Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. Furthermore, “Mona Lisa” placed ninth and third on the charts last August 15 and 16 respectively.

J. Tune Entertainment added, “MBLAQ’s strong music and unusual fashion may have appealed to European fans. Plus, fans from South America are asking for MBLAQ’s performances in their countries.”

MBLAQ went to Brazil to judge the 2011 KPOP Cover Dance Festival held on September 7. It was also recently announced that their next Japanese single will be the opening theme song to the anime “Beelzebub.”
