T-ara is the First Idol Group to Endorse "Himart"

T-ara has become the first ever idol group to model for Korean electronics store, “Himart!” 

The members will be working with current model Yoon Sang Hyun for a special CF that parodies Nam Jin‘s “With You.” T-ara signed the contract when they were at the height of their fame with their retro-themed song, “Roly Poly,” and “Himart” officials thought that they were the best idols to help further advance their brand. 

“Himart” has been known for choosing stars with a friendly image to appeal to their older consumer base, but this time, they’re planning to broaden their target audience to the teens by using T-ara’s idol star power.

T-ara’s contract is also estimated to be worth a couple hundred million won ($200,000 USD), proving that they’re at the top of their game right now. 

Their CF with Yoon Sang Hyun will begin airing on TV starting September 23rd.
