Rainbow's "A" Enters Oricon Daily Singles Chart
Rainbow‘s debut Japanese single, “A“, has successfully entered the Oricon Daily Singles Chart on September 14, ranking within the top three.
According to today’s Oricon chart, a total of 10,141 copies of “A” were sold in the first day alone, placing Rainbow in third place. The girl group finishes behind EXILE and Morning Musume, who occupy the first two spots on the chart.
Prior to this achievement, “A” had already topped Rekochoku, a major ringtone chart in Japan.
Rainbow has already begun full-scale Japanese promotions, making their Japanese TV debut on yesterday’s episode of Sukkiri, impressing the hosts with their Japanese skills. They also performed “A” on the show.
The Japanese version of “A” includes a newly-recorded Japanese version of their debut single, “Gossip Girl“, as well as a special DVD.
