Davichi's Lee Haeri Wins First Round of KBS "Immortal Song 2" with Super High-Pitched Tone
On the Sept. 17 episode of KBS “Immortal Song 2,” the participants were faced with the mission to perform to songs from the 70s and 80s.
On the special episode titled the “Vocalists’ Special,” Davichi’s Lee Haeri reinterpreted Kim Soo cheol’s “Forgotten Flower” in her own style. Her delicate and emotional voice immediately caught the attention of other participants as well as the viewers.
Especially, at the last part of the song, she sang in a cool high-pitched tone, taking a notch up as the song progressed to the end. Afterwards, the other singers couldn’t stop opening their mouths just listened to the performance in amazement. Then, they all cheered for her great powerful voice.
As a result, she surpassed Lee Hyuk of Norazo who was expected to win the 1st round. Other participants from this week include: Seo In Young, Lee Seok Hoon, Lee Hyuk , Im Jeong Hee , Lee Jeong , Shin Yong Jae , Lee Gi Chan , Im Chae Hoon , Lee Haeri , Joo Hee , Go Yu Jin, Al Lee, Jang Hee Young.
