Kara's Kang Ji Young Almost Gave Up on Her Debut Due to Her First Love

Recently, Kara’s Kang Ji Young revealed how she almost gave up on her debut as one of Kara’s members due to her first love.

On the episode of SBS “Strong Heart” that will air on September 20, Kara’s Kang Ji Young, who recently made a comback along with her members through the new album called, “Step,” confessed how she almost gave up on her debut for a man. She surprised everyone on the show after she stated, “I almost gave up on my debut for my first love whom I really liked.”

She continued on by saying, “I had to depart my hometown for Seoul in order to successfully debut, but I just couldn’t part from my first love. I even cried and told my mom that I didn’t want to debut during that time.”

Meanwhile, along with Kang Ji Young, Nicole, Sung Si Kyung, Kim Jo Han, Kim Hye sun, Byun Woo Min, Ja Woo Rim (Kim Yoon Ah, Lee Sun Kyu), Lee Yeh Rin, and Infinite’s Woo Hyun will appear as guests.
