Jung Il Woo Starts Filming for "Flower Boys of Ramyun Shop"

Jung Il Woo has started filming for tvN’s upcoming youth romantic comedy “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop.”

The highly-anticipated drama centers around a ramyun shop run by six flower boys, including Lee Ki Woo who is the shop’s top chef. Lee Chung Ha plays the female lead that manages the shop and gets involved in a “noona romance” with our hero Jung Il Woo, a second generation chaebol heir to a food product company.

Above are images from the drama’s first shoot on September 21 at a Hongdae coffee shop. Jung Il Woo, playing second generation chaebol high school student, is dressed accordingly, sporting a classy but youthful all-black look.

It is reported that the presence of the other flower boys of the ramyun shop drew excitement from onlookers, although we have yet to see who they are.

Jung Il Woo commented that day, “It’s my first shoot in five months after ’49 Days’ so I feel nervous and excited. It’s the first shoot between the actors and actresses in this drama so while it was awkward at first, we got along well very quickly. I think we get along great together.”

The series will start airing Monday-Tuesday on tvN in October.

I can’t wait for the series to start. Flowers boys and ramyun – what a great combination!
