"American Idol" Star Kelly Clarkson Sends Video Message to "Superstar K2's" Kim Bo Kyung

Just this week, Mnet “Superstar K2“‘s popular contestant, Kim Bo Kyung, released her second mini-album titled, “GroWing.” And to celebrate the occasion, former “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson sent her a special video message on Sept. 27.

Kim Bo Kyung responded to the personal message from her idol through her Me2Day saying, “I am truly touched by Kelly Clarkson! Forever you will be my idol. In my mind you are the best! My dream has started to become a reality.” Following her message of appreciation Bo Kyung uploaded Kelly Clarkson’s video of support for others to see.

Kelly Clarkson had made a trip to Korea to be a guest judge on “Superstar K2″ last year. It is well-known how much Kim Bo Kyung respects the original “American Idol” winner as she sang Clarkson’s hit “Because of You” as her audition song for the show and repeatedly mentioned she was her inspiration growing up.

The connection between the two idols was made through Sony Music. Once Clarkson heard about Kim Bo Kyung, she decided to send her love and support to the fellow singer.
