4minute to Sing Theme Song for Upcoming J-Drama

The popular girl group 4minute will be singing the theme song for a new Japanese drama. “The Notorious El Palacio,” will air its first episode on October 6 on Tokyo TV. This theme song will be named “Ready, Go” and will also be the title track of 4minute’s new Japanese album release in December.

This is the third time that 4minute has been approached by Japanese TV stations for collaborations in terms of theme songs for dramas. An official of Tokyo TV stated that, “the members of 4minute own several features that make them different than other girl groups. Their different style and concept make them a more charismatic and unique group.”

The new song “Ready, Go” will contain many rock elements and strong guitar sounds. The drama revolves around the life of a passionate female professional wrestler. The charismatic and dynamic character of 4minute and their intense sounds will form a good match with the new drama and its theme song.

The members of the group are still busy with both national and international promotion activities.
