“2011 Hallyu Dream Concert” Excites Nearly 20,000 Fans
The “2011 Hallyu Dream Concert” was held on October 3 at the Gyeongju Civic Stadium. The concert was organized by the city of Gyeongju, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Korea Tourism Organization to promote the “Visit Korea Year.” It was the closing event for Gyeonju’s three-day Hallyu Dream Festival.
In addition to the originally confirmed 13, many more artists were included to make the complete list as: DBSK, 2PM, SNSD, SHINee, miss A, GD&TOP, Se7en, Secret, Kim Gun Mo, ZE:A, 4minute, G.NA, Beast, T-ara, Davichi, SISTAR, IU, MBLAQ, A Pink, Seo In Gook, Kim Bo Kyung, and Gil Hak Mi. Their spectacular and power performances energized and thrilled the 20,000 audience members, which included nearly 5000 foreign fans.
The concert was hosted by Park Shin Hye, Minho (SHINee) and Taecyeon (2PM).
