Kim Dong Wan Attends the 16th Busan International Film Festival

Actor and Shinhwa member Kim Dong Wan was officially invited to attend the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

The 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) starts from October 6 until October 14, which has begun since 1996 and now one of the greatest film festival in Asia. He was officially invited to this big event and will attend on the eve of the festival at BIFF Square in Nam Po Dong and the opening ceremony at “the Hall of Films” (the biggest one in Korea) on October 5.

He was well received for his great performance and acting in musical “Hedwig” that ended in last August and in MBC TV Independence Day special “The Climax.” The official invitation of the 16th BIFF means that Kim Dong Wan is receiving attention from the film industry.

Busan means a lot to him because it was the location of his first movie “Spin Kick.” Kim Dong Wan says, “Busan is the hometown of my heart because I had started my acting career here. This visit reminds me of old memories again. I really appreciate the invitation. I will try to come here again with my next work. I hope to get a lot of support from you.”

He also won an award from the Minister of Health and Welfare in last September. Currently, he is looking over and deciding between several drama and movies as his next project. Here are some pictures of Kim Dong Wan at the eve of the 16th annual Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) yesterday.
