Davichi's Kang Min Kyung Confuses Lee Hae Ri With Slang from High Kick

On October 14, Davichi performed on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” with their title song “Don’t Say Goodbye”, claiming first place a second time and verifying their talents once again.

During the celebrations of receiving their trophy, Kang Min Kyung said “I want to thank our fans and ‘Music Bank’ for giving us the trophy again. We were elated for receiving it last week and now we are beyond words at how happy we are receiving it a second time.” However, what grabbed the audience’s attention was what came next, as Min Kyung said “Everyone bbwing bbwing” which made Lee Hae Ri turning her head which revealed a very puzzled face and asking Min Kyung “What does that mean?” Resulting in a burst of laughter from the crowd and other performers.

Hae Ri was not the only one puzzled by Min Kyung’s weird phrase, with people not sure where the strange wording came from. However, after the confusion, “bbwing bbwing” was revealed to be a popular slang word originating from f(x) Krystal‘s character (and hijacked by a reluctantly adorable Lee Jong Suk) in “High Kick 3: The Revenge of the Short Legged.”
