Hwanhee's Enlistment Date Decided for October 27

Singer Hwanhee (age 29) is set to be enlisted for the army and will temporarily say goodbye to his fans.

On October 17, sources revealed, “Hwanhee’s enlistment date has been decided. He will be entering the Army forces in the Nonsan training center on October 27.” After Hwanhee receives the basic training at the Nonsan training center for four weeks, he will start work as a public service worker.

Today, Hwanhee posted up a letter to his fans on his online fan cafe to inform them of this news and to say his goodbye.

In his letter, he said, “I’ve worked hard for the past ten years and I want to thank all the love that the fans gave me during that time. I will come back as a better and more mature man.” He continued to say, “Please wait just a little bit. My fan family is always in my heart and I strongly believe that I am in your hearts.”

Due to Hwanhee’s habitual shoulder dislocation, he was labeled as a level four after his physical examination. Level four soldiers go through the same basic training but does not have the same active service as levels one to three. Representatives say that Hwanhee really wanted to participate in active service but was very disappointed after he found out that he was a level four.

Hwanhee released his first official solo album “Hwanhee last July and has been active in the music and entertainment scene. Recently, he received much popularity for his movie, “Starand was named, a musical genius.

Hwanhee, who debuted in 1999 as the male duo Fly To The Sky with Brian Joo, has had many hits including “Missing You,” “Even If My Heart Hurts,” and more. In 2009, he folded up his Fly To The Sky activities after the 8th album and has been pursuing a solo career ever since.
