4minute, BEAST, G.NA to Hold First K-Pop Concert in London

4minute, BEAST, and G.NA will hold the first K-Pop concert in London under the title, “United Cube in London,” Cube Entertainment said in a statement Wednesday.

“4minute, BEAST, and G.NA will hold a concert titled ‘United Cube in London’ twice on Dec. 5 & 6. The event will take place at the O2 Brixton Academy in London in front of more than 10,000 fans,” Cube Entertainment said.

The O2 Brixton Academy was the venue for many pop artists, including Madonna, Bob Dylan, Marilyn Manson, and Rihanna. But it is the first time being used by Asian artists. This event, in particular, is being organized by the world-renowned event planning agency, “Live Nation,” sparking more interest from global fans.

“This is a significant event, especially considering K-Pop is just starting to gain track in the European market. It is going to be a great opportunity to enhance K-Pop’s popularity in the region,” Cube Entertainment said.

The “United Cube” concert kicked off in Seoul last August and was held in Tokyo’s Budokan in the same month in front of approximately 10,000 fans. Last month, Cube Entertainment visited the “Thames Festival” in London to promote their artists as well.

In the European region, SM Entertainment held its first French concert in June. JYJ is also scheduled to perform in Barcelona and Berlin on Oct. 29 and Nov. 6, respectively.
