Supernova's Leader Yoon Hak To Enter Military Service

Boy group Supernova‘s Yoon Hak (Jung Yoon Hak, age 27) will be enlisting in the military.

On Oct. 24, his agency reported that he will be putting off his activities to go into service for two years. On Oct. 25, he will be meeting fans at noon before he enters his recruiting center and is assigned his duties. 

He has already held a meeting with his Japanese fans, parting with final greetings on Oct. 16 at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. The event was titled “For You”, and the members of Supernova held a “confession corner” for their beloved leader.

Supernova members performed their first debut song “Kima Deka Ocheuto”, They prepared a spotlight for Yoon Hak, who performed his own solo song.

Yoon Hak also prepared a personally handwritten letter for his fans, which read “While I’m gone, please be Supernova’s leader for me.” At this, fans began to shed tears.

Yoon Hak has been Supernova’s leader since the group debuted in 2007. Since the group first started performing, it has received a lot of attention and popularity, especially in Japan. After he leaves, members Kwang Soo, Sung Mo, Sung Jae, Gun Il and Ji Hyuk will continue activities.
