Rookie Girl Group to Have 24 Members

The largest girl group has emerged. Rookie Leader’S will have a total of 24 members, made up of three sub-groups with eight members each. Leader’S initially debuted earlier in the year with seven members. They later became an eight-member team when they released a single, “Kiss Me” and the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics song “Korea Olympics” in September.

According to a recent statement from Leader’S management agency TNG Entertainment, the group is being expanded to a total of 24 members. The sub-groups Leader’S T, Leader’S G, and Leader’S N were also announced.

Leader’S T was the sub-group that promoted “Kiss Me.” Leader’S G will be the one to release a track next, and finally Leader’S N.

“The idea of the group is inspired from the Japanese girl group AKB48,” TNG Entertainment said. “Unlike other girl groups, the concept of Leader’S will have a friendly image which will be comfortable with fans.”
