"SMTown Live in New York" to be Released as a Movie in 2012

“SMTown Live in New York,” the historic, one-night-only concert held at the Madison Square Garden on October 23 will be released as a movie in the first half of 2012, according to SM Entertainment.

The film version of the concert is tentatively titled “I Am: SMTOWN Live World Tour in Madison Square Garden.” Aside from live cuts of performances from the concert, the movie will also feature behind-the-scenes footage of their stages, as well as stories from the artists and a slice of their lives off the stage. The movie will also give the viewers a glimpse of the journey of the artists, beginning from their trainee periods to their current selves and the steps they take towards their future dreams.

The “SM Town Live in New York” concert featured DBSK, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Kangta and BoA.
