UV Releases MV for Latest Single "Tralala"
On November 14, UV released a music video for their latest single, “Tralala.” The mini album was made available for purchase on November 15. Unlike “Itaewon Freedom,” the group tackles a ballad which echoes the classic styles of rock and trot. The video itself has a throwback feel that matches the songs classic vibe with tributes to guitar greats Jimi Hendrix and Slash, as well as a shout out to the late blues guitarist, Gary Moore (rest his soul) in the intro along with his signature sound in the song’s reoccurring guitar riff. As a fan of classic rock and blues I cannot help but enjoy this video with all the appreciation for those who have come before.
Once again the duo’s talent and humor is shown through their most recent music video. Even the outfits worn by the rest of the members of the backing band are comical. Ocassioanlly, construction workers can be seen and heard in the background hammering nails all the while the group continues to perform. The emotionally powerful track is juxtaposed with the lighthearted visuals which all leads up to a shocking surprise ending.
This video has something for everyone. The music video is complete with a girl in a bikini, belly dancers, an adorable guy with a balloon, awkward foreigners, moments full of drama, and even guns. What more could you possibly ask for in a music video?
The video is definitely worth a watch and the track deserves your attention. It perfectly depicts the musical sense, talent, and comedic prowess that this duo possesses. Check out the video below:
