Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young in "Wild Romance"

Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young will be partnering up for the new KBS drama, “Wild Romance.”

It was rumored some weeks ago that Lee Dong Wook and Yoon Eun Hye were in talks to be the leads for the drama, but Yoon Eun Hye personally refuted the rumors via her Twitter account.

Now Lee Dong Wook has been solidified as the male lead, Park Mu Yeol, and Lee Shi Young as the female lead, Yoon Eun Jae. Park Mu Yeol is a professional baseball player who has a wild and temperamental personality and harbors some pain about a past lover. Yoon Eun Jae is a judo-athlete turned bodyguard. She meets Lee Dong Wook in an “unlucky” encounter, as he is a player for her most hated baseball team. Through a series of unexpected events, she ends up becoming his bodyguard.

This romantic-comedy drama will be shooting at the end of November, aiming for a January 14, 2012 broadcast, after the end of “Man of Honor.” The writer is Park Yeon Soo, who penned “Alone in Love” and the director is Baek Kyung-Soo from “Infamous Chil Sisters.
