Gaeko Dedicates a Song to His Newborn Son

Gaeko of the Korean hip hop duo Dynamic Duo, who has recently revealed his sixth album “Digilog 1/2”, has revealed that “Great Expectations” (track number 9) is a song that is dedicated to his newborn son.

The rapper wanted to express his feelings and hopes towards his son through this meaningful song – the hopes that his son will grow up to be a healthy and honest man.

The lyrics contain the following sentences, which clearly express his unconditional love for his child: “When I see your bright smile, while I hold you in my arms, my long and tiring day just disappears/You are the center of all my decisions/You do not have to become an angel, just be precious/Experience more, see more and be more healthy than me/You are my everything, thus I will be the adult you need.”

The overall tune of this song has a warming vibe, enhancing the emotional side of the song. Gaeko’s soothing voice and manner of singing in this song, also contribute to the expression of his true feelings and gratitude.

In honor of their new album, the duo will present a new art project. This project consists of figurines, video arts, Gaeko’s drawings and art photographs. Artists like the globally known Coolrain (Lee Chan Woo), the professional photographer Chae Jae Won and art director Kim Dae Hong are all a part of this incredible project.

A lot of influential artists have collaborated on this new album including Simo & Mood Schula, Primary, Mad Soul Child, Planet Shiver, Assbrass, Flow and R&B vocalists Jin Bo and Bin Ji Noh.

Gaeko’s wife is also very supportive of his singing career and helps him with whatever she can. The newborn child also has a nickname that is related to his father’s career, “Rhythm”.
