Super Junior's Leeteuk & Eunhyuk Depart From "Kiss the Radio"

After five long years of DJing for KBS Cool FM‘s “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio,” Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have announced that they will be departing from the radio program to better commit to their other schedules.

The two began DJing for the program back in August 21, 2006, and have maintained their positions for the past five years and three months. The radio show to air on December 4 will mark their final episode on the show.

According to information disclosed by the producers on November 30, the reason for their departure lies in their busy individual schedules. Filling in for the two will be fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook.

Groups like SNSD, Infinite, and other idol stars hoped to nab a seat in the DJ position for the show, but producers were adamant about keeping with the “Super Junior” aspect of the show and personally requested for Sungmin and Ryeowook to fill their absence.

Still, despite their busy schedules, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk have made a long run thanks to their love for the radio program. They’ve earned the title of “longest idol DJ” with their exit, as well as the love of teens and young adults.
