Kim Tae Hee: the Next Straight Hair Goddess

LG Household & Health Care recently revealed on December 1 that they have chosen Kim Tae Hee for their “Ohui” makeup and Elastine shampoo model.

This signifies that Kim Tae Hee is now the next “straight hair goddess” which was originally Jeon Ji Hyun, who held that position for the last 10 years. Since 2001, Jeon Ji Hyun has been imprinted on the mind of the Korean public as the face for Elastine. She appeared in a commercial saying “Your hair, is skin to Elastine.”

Regarding “Ohui,” Kim Tae Hee used to be the model until 2006. After the contract expired with “Ohui” she moved on to Amore Pacific “Hera” for about five years. Now she has come back to the brand.

A representative of LG Household & Health Care stated, “In the past Jeon Ji Hyun represented silky straight hair. Kim Tae Hee will be the next shampoo fairy by representing an elegant and smart hair.” The new advertisements will be released through TV and newspapers this month.
