Lee Jang Woo Cast for "Roly Poly" Musical

Actor Lee Jang Woo, who’s also the husband to T-ara‘s Eunjung on MBC‘s “We Got Married,” has revealed that he has been cast for the upcoming musical, “Roly Poly.”

The news is particularly exciting in that it’s a promise he’s keeping to Eunjung and his T-ara sisters-in-laws. “Roly Poly” is a musical centered around the 1980s time period about a group of high school girls. Much like T-ara’s music video under the same title, the musical aims to depict the nostalgic memories of the time period. 

Others joining him in the cast list include Park Haemi, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, Soyeon, and Hyomin, and Davichi‘s Min Kyung. 

As he’s been playing the role of a feisty antagonist on KBS‘s “Jane’s Honor,” he’ll be shedding his cynical image for a more romantic role through the musical. 

“Roly Poly” will begin playing on January 13 at the Sungnam Art Center Opera House.
