SNSD's Jessica to Play Lee Dong Wook's Past Love in "Wild Romance"

SNSD‘s Jessica is confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming drama “Wild Romance,” starring Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young, according to reports from local news agencies on December 23. It was reported earlier in the week that the singer is a strong candidate for a role in the drama.

Reports now say Jessica will play the character Kang Jong Hee, who is professional baseball player Park Mu Yeol’s (Lee Dong Wook) past love.  Her character is expected to appear in the middle of the drama. Viewers anticipate how she will complicate the loveline between the main characters Mu Yeol and his bodyguard Yoon Eun Jae (Lee Si Young.)

With Jessica taking on her first drama role, SNSD fans are anticipating the news of two other members who are also in strong contention to appear in dramas. Sooyoung is strongly considered for “Speed” and Yuri for “Fashion King.” 

“Wild Romance” is slated to begin broadcast in early January, 2012.
