Seungri Shares Photos from First Acting Gig

On December 26, Big Bang’s Seungri shared a photo taken after his first acting experience. Under the photo taken with co-star Sung Ji Roo, Seungri wrote, “I’m filming for MBC ‘Lights and Shadows’ in a cameo role. Sung Ji Roo apologized for hitting me too hard on the face and wanted to take a photo together. Hope to see more of you watch this drama.”

In the picture, Seungri is wearing a red sweater with hairstyle reminiscent of the 70s, while Sung Ji Roo is smiling with his hand on Seungri’s face.

It was reported during the filming that took place on December 24, Seungri showed great acting skills and enthusiasm for his role despite the freezing cold weather. After his scene, Seungri told local media, “I’m glad to be part of a drama series I’ve always watched. It was my first time filming a TV drama, but seeing all these staff and cast members work so hard in this freezing weather, I was able to learn how much effort is required to finish a single drama series.”

Seungri is expected to make his acting debut through MBC drama “Lights and Shadows.” He plays the role of Ahn Jae Soo, an aspiring singer who moves from a small town to make it big in Seoul.
