Son Dam Bi Contributes to the "Light and Shadows" OST

Son Dam Bi expands her participation in MBC’s “Light and Shadows” with a contribution to the drama’s soundtrack. Son Dam Bi, who plays singer Yoo Chae Young in the drama, is set to release the medium-tempo ballad “Everything.”

Local news agencies reported that the singer/actress has already finished recording the track, which will serve as the male protagonist’s love song. Reports further say that the soundtrack recording went smoothly, especially with a singer who is also playing a character in the drama.

“A song that I can call my own in the soundtrack of the drama I’m in is very significant,” Son Dam Bi said. “The song’s lyrics evoke sad feelings and will help the viewers get into the emotion. Please give us a lot of love.”

“Light and Shadows” is about Kang Ki Tae (played by Ahn Jae Wook), the first national entertainer for soldiers in war fields. The drama is set in 1960s, during the Vietnam War. “Light and Shadows” premiered in late November is planned for 50 episodes.
