Ha Jung Woo to Act Out Fashion Designer Andre Kim for Autobiographical Film

The life of celebrity fashion designer Andre Kim is going to be made into a movie. (Andre Kim was the first male designer to design women’s clothes in the 1960’s) His son Kim Joong Do signed a contract with Fantazio Pictures giving them rights to make the film.

Andre Kim was very flamboyant but his personal life was always hidden in veils. The film will focus on Andre Kim when he was younger. They will show episodes that occurred in the entertainment and fashion industry revolving around Andre Kim.

Kim Joong Do stated, “I hope that the youthful days of my father will give moving moments to the current youth.”

Currently, Ha Jung Woo is slated to act Andre Kim. The film will be released sometime in 2013. (Andre Kim passed away on August 12, 2010)
