Song Hye Kyo Covers All Costs for New Korean Brochures at MoMA

Song Hye Kyo has covered all costs involved in printing new Korean brochures at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. MoMA has provided Korean information brochures and audio services since 2007, but they completely renewed the design of the booklets this month.

“MoMA has started providing totally new Korean brochures from this month. The costs of producing the new brochures were all covered by the Hallyu star Song Hye Kyo,” said Suh Kyung Duk, the Sung Shin Women’s University professor best-known for his efforts to publicize Korea’s sovereignty over Dokdo Island.

The new booklet contains information on MoMA’s overall map, with directions to facilities, gallery, cafes, and souvenir stores. You can pick it up for free at the museum’s information desk. It’s also available online at MoMA’s official website.

“Song Hye Kyo, who’s done a lot of promotions overseas, realized the importance of providing better Korean service at museums abroad, so they decided to fully support MoMA this time,” her representative told local media.

Professor Suh added, “The Korean booklets will help all the Koreans visiting the museum. Also, having better Korean service could greatly enhance Korea’s overall brand image. We’ll continue to work with Song Hye Kyo to increase the number of Korean information services at museums around the world.”
