[Exclusive] Legendary Composer Yoon Il Sang’s Interview

Not a lot of people are aware of producer Yoon Il Sang and his legendary work of art. He’s the mastermind behind some of the greatest K-Pop classics, including Kim Bum Soo’s “I’m Missing You” and Lee Eun Mi’s “I Have a Lover,” and has worked with countless musicians over his illustrious 21 year career. As the founder of NEGANETWORK and producer of the Brown Eyed Girls, Yoon Il Sang has built his own music empire through the years, and now holds the copyright to more than 700 songs, which is arguably the highest among any K-Pop producer.

To commemorate his remarkable career, Yoon Il Sang and some of his closest friends released a commemorative album, “I’m 21,” featuring remade versions of some of his greatest hits. The first two singles, 10cm’s “Sorrow” and Paul Potts’ “I’m Missing You,” were released last week (see the MVs below). The album will unveil two songs at a time from its 10 total track list every two weeks.
