2AM's Debut Single "Never Let You Go" #3 on Oricon Charts

2AM’s debut single “Never Let You Go” that was released on January 11 has reached #3 on the Oricon charts.

The song itself is a Japanese version of the Korean hit single with the same name. On the day that the album was released, 11,129 albums were sold.

2AM is garnering attention because unlike other idols they are more focused on vocal talent than dance performances.

The Big Hit Entertainment Agency stated, “2AM’s album sales have performed well in a not-so-favorable situation. They have put the green light on for their Japanese activities.”

Currently 2AM is promoting in Japan, they arrived in Japan on January 10. On January 14-15 they will hold a high five event with a live performance. They will also begin their Japanese tour on January 24.
