Who Wore It Better: SNSD's YoonA vs. Han Hyo Joo

SNSD’s YoonA and actress Han Hyo Joo were seen wearing the same dress from Pronovias, the premier wedding dress designer based in Barcelona. Pronovias opened its first flagship store in Seoul last December, and many Korean celebrities were seen donning its gorgeous dresses at many of the year-end red carpet events.  The eye-catching dress is a grey-bluish “Leticia” evening gown with an asymmetrical neckline that fits tight at the body and flares out with feathery, chiffon silk.

YoonA wore the gown at the “2011 KBS Entertainment Awards” first, where she served as one of the MCs, alongside Shin Dong Yup and Lee Ji Ae. YoonA looked feminine and sophisticated with minimal accessories, putting all the focus on the dress. The silhouette of the dress and the way she had her wavy hair down to one side made her look like a mermaid from afar.

Han Hyo Joo wore the same gown at the recent red carpet event in Thailand, the first annual “Hua Hin Film Festival.” She and “Only You” co-star So Ji Sub attended the event, which was screening their latest movie “Only You.”  Han Hyo Joo also kept the look relatively simple with a small clutch and bold earrings. She had her hair pulled back to a low ponytail for a more elegant look. However, the earrings’ size and color distracted the overall elegant and refined appeal.

Meanwhile, YoonA and her fellow SNSD members left for New York earlier today to make a guest appearance on two popular American TV talk shows, CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman” and ABC’s “Live! With Kelly,” on January 31 and February 1 respectively. She’s also busy filming her latest drama “Love Rain,” co-starring Jang Geun Suk. Han Hyo Joo, on the other hand, has two movies lined up for 2012. She’s currently filming “I Am the King of Chosun” with Lee Byeon Heon. Once she wraps up “I Am the King of Chosun,” she will jump into filming “Band-Aid” with Go Soo.
