Big Bang’s G-Dragon for "High Cut"
Big Bang’s G-Dragon graces the cover of the latest issue of “High Cut” magazine. With 2012 being the year of the dragon, “High Cut” played with words and titled his spread “Year of the g-Dragon,” who was also born in the year of the dragon back in 1988.
For the spread, G-Dragon displayed various styles, ranging from playful to sexy, all the while modeling Bean Pole clothes and backpacks. Fellow Big Bang members Taeyang and Daesung made a surprise visit to the photoshoot to cheer for G-Dragon. They asked the crew to “please take good care of our Ji Yong.”
During the interview that followed the photoshoot, G-Dragon stated, “In 2012, I feel like we should work even harder in order to show our gratitude for all the support fans have shown Big Bang.” He also opened up about the marijuana controversy he was involved in last year. When asked if he was concerned about the impending public criticisms regarding his comeback, he answered, “I am at fault, so I will accept it. I’ll try to keep a positive attitude.”
G-Dragon also added, “I enjoy watching SBS’s ‘K-Pop Star,’ which our president (Yang Hyun Suk) appears in. I told Yang that if I hadn’t joined the company earlier, I would have probably been eliminated on ‘K-Pop Star.” He also picked Lee Seung Hoon, who supposedly lives a minute away from the YG office, as one of the participants he keeps an eye out for.
Meanwhile, Big Bang will release their fifth mini-album on February 29.
