Profane Netizen Comments Bring Tears to T-ara’s Jiyeon

On February 2, T-ara’s Jiyeon shared her feelings about profane netizen comments on the MBC “Joo Byung Jin Talk Concert.”  

She started off by saying, “From my debut until now, it’s been extremely hard for me. Back then I was so young…” but she couldn’t finish her sentence as her nightmare memories of negative online comments brought tears to her eyes.

To support Jiyeon, Super Junior’s Shindong spoke up, saying, “I guess female celebrities get hurt more and suffer from more rumors. Recently, a ‘positive comment’ movement has started, so I hope everyone joins it.”

Moments later, Jiyeon was able to gather herself, and she added, “I still try to avoid negative comments. I usually don’t go online at all, but I think I have to fight against it now. I’ll try to be stronger.”

After seeing the show, netizens commented, “Many celebrities committed suicide because of profane comments,” “Let’s make the ‘positive comment movement’ bigger,” and “Jiyeon fighting!”
