After School's Nana Graces the Cover of Japanese Fashion Magazine

After School member, Nana, was chosen to be the cover model for a popular Japanese fashion magazine.

Nana proudly modeled for the cover of SWAK‘s [Sealed With a Kiss] latest March issue.

This is a great achievement since even within the Japanese star community, only the top famous artists get chosen to be on the cover of SWAK. Such celebrities include Sawajiri Erika, Sasaki Nozomi, Mizuhara Kiko, Anna Tsuchiya, and more. SWAK had invited After School to conduct a special interview. During that interview, it was revealed that Nana had experience in modeling before. SWAK decided at that time to put Nana as their cover model for this issue.

Nana started modeling in various model contests in 2009 coupled with other modeling work in Japan’s “Girls Award” last year and this year. Additionally, Nana also modeled for fashion designer Park Yoon Soo‘s 2012 spring and summer (S/S) collection in Seoul.

After School’s agency Pledis says, “The Japanese really love Nana’s distinct appearance, sophisticated style, and unique charm. We are seeing a fantastic response to Nana’s first cover shoot.”

Starting March 7, After School will release their studio album “Play Girls” and begin their first solo concert tour of Japan in April.
