Summer Flash Mob in Chicago Asks for "SMTOWN Live World Tour"
Chicago’s K-Pop fans are planning a flash mob event to bring “SMTOWN Live World Tour” in the Windy City, according to a report from “The Seoul Times.” In view of the success of past United States “SMTOWN Live World Tour” concerts in Los Angeles and New York, as well as Girls’ Generation’s recent promotional activities, K-Pop fans in Chicago are hoping the most popular “SMTOWN” acts also make a stop in their city.
The flash mob is reportedly set in the summer. If plans push through, this event will be Chicago’s second flash mob event, following the one held in Lake Shore Park on November 12 which featured fans dancing to hits from “SMTOWN” artists Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, SHINee, TVXQ, BoA and f(x).
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment is scheduled to hold one of its global auditions in Chicago on February 20.
