JYJ's Documentary "The Day" to Play in Lotte Cinema Theaters

It looks like JYJ’s documentary “The Day” might actually see the light of day finally! This time around the theater that will play the documentary is “Lotte Cinema.”

As we reported before, the documentary had a lot of problems with broadcasting and being shown. First, the cable channel QTV had made the documentary but could not broadcast it. Then the documentary was supposed to play in CGV theaters on February 9. However, on January 29 it was suddenly announced that the theater release was cancelled. JYJ’s agency stated that they would take legal measures against CGV for breach of contract.

JYJ’s agency stated, “Lotte Cinema will release the JYJ documentary ‘The Day’ in 17 theaters on February 23. JYJ will make appearances at the Seoul theaters.”
