"Ojakgyo Brothers" Achieves All-Time High Ratings for Finale Episode

“Ojakgyo Brothers” went out with a bang as its finale episode aired on February 19 posting 36.3% audience share ratings, according to local news agencies. It was a record high for the top-rating weekend series starring After School’s Uee and Joo Won.

The series has consistently topped the ratings on its Saturday-Sunday timeslot almost throughout its run that began in August 2011. “Ojakgyo Brothers” was originally planned for 50 episodes but its success with viewers prompted an eight-episode extension.

“Ojakgyo Brothers” wrapped with happy endings for its love lines, most notably the one between Hwang Tae Hee (Joo Won) and Baek Ja Eun (Uee), which ended in a wedding. The series revolved around the lives and loves of four brothers on a farm.

“Unexpected You,” starring “Queen of Reversals’” Kim Nam Joo is set to follow up “Ojakgyo Brothers” and will premiere on KBS on February 25.
