"Fashion King" Releases More Photos of Girls' Generation Yuri

“Fashion King,” starring Shin Se Kyung, Yoo Ah In, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, and Lee Jae Hoon, will air its pilot episode on March 19. To build up the anticipation, “Fashion King” has been releasing several teaser stills of its leads. Earlier today, photos of Yuri, carefully studying her lines, were unveiled.

The photos were taken in between takes during the drama’s shoot in New York. According to producers, Yuri is always looking over her script, whether she is sitting or standing.

Yuri revealed, “While a singer has to pour all her energy and impact to a short performance, an actor needs to maintain the energy and live like the character over a longer period of time, which is why I find it more difficult.” She added, “I am having fun challenging myself these days.”

In the upcoming series, Yuri plays Anna Choi, an attractive protégé of an internationally famous designer, who made a name for herself in America despite the stereotypes and hostility towards foreigners. “Fashion King” will premiere on SBS on March 19 at 9:55PM KST.
